Bath · Midsomer Norton · Somerset

Your 5am flight.
My 3am start.

Private hire transfers from Bath and the surrounding towns to Bristol Airport. One licensed driver, one large estate car, and a price on the screen before you tell me a single thing about yourself.

I cover the BA postcodes and BS39: Bath, Midsomer Norton and Radstock, Paulton, Frome, Wells, Shepton Mallet, Trowbridge, Warminster, and as far out as Yeovil. If your postcode starts with anything else, I'm not your driver, and the price box will say so straight away.

No account, no waiting

What will it cost?

Your postcode and when you need collecting. That is all I need - and the number you get is the number you pay, with the airport's own charges already inside it.

Which way are you going?

October 2026

Pick a day to see the times. Days crossed out are ones I can't do at all.

Booked together, it's £10 off
Picking someone up, or dropping something off. From £10 - the postcode tells me how far out of the way it is, and it is in the price below.

No account, no waiting, and nothing to pay to find out.

Why me, and how you can check

Licensed to take your booking
I hold a private hire operator licence from South Gloucestershire Council. Taking a booking is operating, and an operator has to be licensed for it - you can look me up on the council's public register without asking me.
One driver, one car
The person who works out your price is the person who turns up at your door. No office, no controller, no subcontractor sent instead - when you get in touch, you get me.
The price is the price
Fixed on the screen before you tell me anything about yourself, with the airport's own charges already inside it. No meter, no surge, and nothing added at the card - that is the law since April 2025, and it is how I would rather work anyway.
The car
Blue 2021 Toyota Corolla Touring Sports Hybrid - 4 seats and room for 3 large cases. One car, so you know which one is coming.

One price, and you see it now

Three steps, one price

  1. One

    Put in your postcode

That, the time, and which way you're going. Nothing about you - I don't need to know who you are to tell you what it costs.

  2. Two

    The price is there

Straight away, on the screen, airport charges included. It's the whole price: no meter, no surge, nothing added at the card.

  3. Three

Book it, and pay how you like

Card now if you'd rather have it done, or cash or card with me on the day - same price either way. Free to cancel up to 24 hours before.

Before you ask

The usual questions

Which airport do you go to?

Bristol Airport (BRS), and only Bristol Airport. Doing one run properly is why the early ones are reliable and why the price never moves.

Where do you pick up from?

The BA postcodes - Midsomer Norton, Radstock, Paulton, Bath, Frome, Wells, Shepton Mallet, Trowbridge, Warminster, Westbury, Bradford-on-Avon, Glastonbury, Street, Castle Cary, Wincanton, Yeovil and the villages between them. If your postcode starts with anything else I am not your driver, and the price box will say so the moment you type it.

How much does it cost?

Put your postcode in and you will see the number straight away - no waiting and nothing to fill in about yourself first. It depends on where you are, which way you are going and the hour of the day, and the smallest fare I will turn the key for is £55.

Is the price I see the price I pay?

Yes, and that includes the airport's own charges - they are inside the figure rather than added at the card. An extra stop is £10 and it is inside the figure too, as long as you tick the box when you book. The only thing that can ever be added afterwards is waiting beyond the free time, and the basis for that is written next to the price before you pay: 20 minutes free at your door, 45 after your plane lands, then £30 an hour.

Do I need to create an account?

No. You can get a price and book without signing in - you get a private link to your journey. Signing in is optional and only exists so returning customers can keep everything in one place and their card on file.

How do I pay?

Whichever suits you: by card online as you book, or cash or card with me on the day. It is the same price either way, and nothing is taken when you only ask what it costs.

What if I have to cancel?

More than 24 hours before the pickup, there is nothing to pay and anything you paid by card comes back in full. Inside 24 hours I keep half the fare, because by then I have usually turned other work down for that slot. Ring me anyway - if I can fill it, I would rather do that than keep your money.

Do you carry a child seat?

No, and you do not need one to travel with me: in a licensed private hire vehicle a child under 3 may travel in the back without a seat, held by an adult where there is no suitable belt, and a child of 3 or over uses the adult belt, also in the back. The exemption never covers the front seat. You are very welcome to bring your own seat and I will help you fit it - and if a suitable seat is in the car, it has to be used.

Will four of us fit with our luggage?

It is a full estate, not a hatchback - up to 4 passengers, which is the limit because there are four seats. A comfortable load is two large cases of about 20 kg, two cabin bags and three small backpacks. Tell me exactly what is coming and I will give you a straight answer about whether it fits.

Can I bring the dog?

Yes, pets are fine. Say so when you book and I will put a cover down. The one thing I do ask is no eating or drinking in the car - the next passenger gets in an hour later.

Can you pick us up on the way back too?

Yes, and it is £10 cheaper booked both ways at once. Tick the return box, give me the date and time you land, and you will see both legs and the total together.

How far in advance should I book?

The earlier the better. I am one driver with one car, so a popular Saturday morning goes to whoever asked first - but it is always worth asking, even at short notice.

What if my flight time changes?

Ring or email as soon as you know. Changes are far easier to sort out before the day than on it, and moving a booking costs nothing.

Is the car licensed?

Yes - licensed private hire driver and vehicle with South Gloucestershire Council, insured for hire and reward. Advance booking only, which is what a private hire licence means: it is not a taxi you flag down.

Not the question you had? Send me a message and I will answer it myself - there is no call centre at this end.
